I joined the Odds as lead / rhythm guitarist in 2007 after their 10 year hiatus from the music scene after they officially broke up. We've played countless shows across Canada and on the wide open seas as part of some of the Barenaked Ladies Ships n Dips rock boat cruises. We also performed as the Canucks official House Band during the various 2009 - 2012 playoff runs including the big run to the final when the Canucks lost in Game 7 of the final round against the Boston Bruins. We were at every home game playing in the arena throughout the entire series and what an amazing and fun time it was.
One of my favorite bands of all time is CCR and when the opportunity to join a local CCR tribute band popped up in 2017 I jumped at the chance. We play a set list of almost 30 songs and every one of them is instantly recognizable. Its such a testament to their incredible talent that they wrote and recorded their entire catalog in roughly a 5 year span with 3 of their most influential albums all being released in 1 year alone. Its such a great time playing that music. Band features Jamie Robertson on lead vocals and guitar, Lance Lapointe on bass, Grant Baird on drums, and myself. Nothing but hit after hit!
